Chainr is built for one specific moment: when two strangers are about to exchange money and goods in a private sale. We verify both sides, record the handover, and create a certificate both parties can keep. We do not hold the money, guarantee the item, or expose private details to the other party.
We are deliberately clear about our role. Chainr adds identity verification and handover proof around your sale. It does not step into the deal itself.
The other party sees your verified name on the certificate. They do not see your residential address, ID document, selfie, card details or contact details.
Chainr is designed to prove identity without exposing unnecessary private information.
Government ID and selfie checks are handled by Stripe Identity. Chainr receives the verified result needed to create your record, but does not store your ID photo or selfie.
Every Chainr certificate has a unique CR reference. This lets a certificate be checked so both parties can confirm the record is genuine.

Knowing what Chainr is not is part of using it safely. Two limits matter most.
Chainr does not hold the buyer's money, hold the seller's item, process the private sale payment, or release funds after handover.
You still choose how to pay or get paid. Chainr adds identity verification and handover proof around the sale.
Chainr verifies the people involved. It does not inspect the item, guarantee condition, confirm ownership history, prove authenticity, or guarantee that an item will not later be reported, blocked or disputed.
For high-value goods, always check receipts, serial numbers, condition, proof of purchase and any specialist authentication before handover.
Chainr does not let one party request the other person's address. Evidence packs are only released through proper law-enforcement or court processes.
If something goes wrong, report it through the correct official route. Chainr can support the record, but it does not decide the dispute.
